Sarah writes about design practice, social innovation, and design leadership. Her work and projects have been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Wired, FastCo.Exist, Medium, The Communication Arts Typography Annual 7, Forrester, Digital Gov, PopTech, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and many more places across the social web and in published books.

Her book contributions include the chapter on System Shifting, published in Strategic Design Thinking: Innovation in Products, Services, Experiences and Beyond in 2015. In 2016, her essay “Collective Strength and Greater Understanding Through Co- Design,” was published in Leap Dialogues, a volume curated by Designmatters at ArtCenter College of Design.
